Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Mechanical Assemblers for projects located in and around Sun Valley, CA. This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Using hand tools to secure screws into block-off plates and lids
Operating ball valves to turn water and air systems on/off, maintaining 10 PSI
Observing for pressure drops and leaks after water fill
Wiping down and inspecting sheet metal boxes for weld integrity
Handling parts weighing 30–45 lbs (up to ~70 lbs after assembly; heavier when filled with water)
Tilting and sliding units to remove air pockets and inspect weld seams
Electrical splicing wires, cramping wire, connectors, installing bulk heads, etc.
Assembling frames for underwater lights
Assembling large cabinets
Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Standard PPE
Experience in the field
Aerospace Assembly Experience
Ability to read blueprints
